…I couldn’t care one bit about the sex or race of the flight crew…as long as they have the skill set to be a pilot. However…the urge to find or develop such pilots displays a willingness to sacrifice competence and skills for race and sex. Many Pilots are ex-military pilots who have thousands of hours in the cockpit…and are therefore much more competent and experienced than some 24 year old woman just out of school. When you mix all of this untested fresh “talent” together on the same flight…there is very little experience should something go wrong. If the cockpit is full of new female pilots…the degree of experience is almost nil.
Let me get this right? we had an all woman, crew and pilots? And they landed up-side down, what the hell? We know woman have a hard time driving, just imagine them flying, this is what u got. I will never fly again. This sounds like more DEI, wholly shit, what it’s going to take, to make us safe again? Sorry, this is BS. Listen to the audio tapes of the A/C – Tower conversation. The non-flying pilot (probably the male Captain) is obviously male. It may be that the female co-pilot was flying the leg. Looking at the available videos, it’s obvious that there was no “flare” maneuver. The airplane touched down hard on the right main gear, which collapsed, causing the rollover.
