What the fugg? That appeared to be half a 25 lb. bag of sugar on each pan of sweet potatoes (so called because, uh, they’re naturally sweet)!!! How could anybody eat that? Last night, I cooked my traditional English Christmas dinner. One of my indulgences when I make it is to serve caramelized onions – a whole batch of small (pearl or stewing) onions (4 or 5 dozen, at least), cooked in and coated with a consomme’ (1 cup) and brown sugar (1 cup) sauce… and I felt guilty about it because of how much sugar it contains (and you don’t eat but a fraction of the sauce). Then I saw this and I’m like “whatever”, enjoy. No doubt this is delicious, but… well, just “but” or maybe “butt”, considering the consequences.
