Our only chance to truly clear out the depths of the swamp was to get enough people in charge who couldn’t be bought. Those who came before got sucked into the system and became rich and, therefore, part of the problem. Finally, we have some people who have already experienced money and know it’s not the be-all end-all of existence. They enjoy their wealth but understand the concept of gaining it lawfully. America is ALL ABOUT the capitalist idea of making money lawfully. There are too many politicians who simply want to steal what belongs to the US citizens.
