Why don’t I get back the money I paid for my kid’s colleges. I worked 2 jobs and my husband worked 2 jobs to pay for college (we did without for our kids). My son went on to law school and I wouldn’t pay for it, and it cost him $120,000 which it took him 12yrs to pay off. Does he get his money back? Why should people pay for other kids’ college when maybe they didn’t send their kids to college? Why when people take a mortgage out and can’t pay it, get forgiveness and not pay the banks. Those kids signed a contract, and they should fulfill it, not others.

The whole point to paying off college debt is to buy votes with taxpayers money, and after you vote the democrats back into power, they won’t do a damn thing for you, other than to steal even more of your money to give to illegal invaders to buy their votes also!

This student loan forgiveness is nothing more than a way to buy votes in November’s election. Call it what it really is.
Is it possible it is a bailout of the debt arranged for by the government and the requirements used to acquire the loan for the financial institution they use? It is the government using taxpayer money to pay off the financial institutions used for loans they arranged for people pursuing degrees not capable of paying off the loan. So the financial institution gets paid, the student gets out from under debt without 7 years of bad credit, and the taxpayer gets screwed. I wonder if it is for Obama era social services degree programs, the degree of the militant protestor, that and the law degrees. Maybe a restriction should prevent Antifa and BLM from qualifying for debt forgiveness.
