They should make a law like “If the county assesses your house at a new price, the county must buy the house from you at that price if you want to sell.”

Biden gave my renters free rent so after 5 months and getting bills for property taxes and Insurance I sold the darn place for a dollar. Got tired of paying for Gov pensions and salaries (much better than mine) and perks to the county and city employees. So, I no longer own it, Thank God
The real grabber is: if you can’t pay your property taxes, they will take your property and sell it for taxes owed! How is that even considered legal? WHY should we be required to pay taxes on our homes? So, in reality, you never really own your home, the government does. That has to change!
