People that never lived in Cali have no idea how amazing it was back in my day. (80s and 90s Bay Area) It really had a special energy and excitement no matter what we went thru. I hate being tribal, but Dems totally ruined it.

After all these years of continual wildfires, why hasn’t California developed a fire prevention plan with appropriate vegetation control and fire breaks as in effect in east coast states? I’m surprised that ALL businesses aren’t leaving California high and dry – with the $1000 minimum theft protection for shoplifters/thieves and threat of firing of employees who confront the theives…

Some of the fires that started in California start by the old, above ground electricity poles that spark onto dry grass area’s.
A lot of the California fires are started by the radical left wing environmentalists who want to claim the fires are caused by global warming!
This is a perfect example of the California Dems incompetence! All of Americans in California need to get their heads on straight! Not only Fire Breaks, but the Dems have increased Fishing license fees on all Veterans and Elderly. The current Dems have continuously funded Illegals over American Vets. Why hasn’t this Government in California created Desalinization Plants to share with Nevanda, Arizona, Colrado & Utah to pump the desalinized water up stream of the Colorado River, Lake Powell & Lake Mead for emergency water backups?
I remember California in the 1970 and 80s. It was a great place democrat policies destroyed everything.
