The landlord would be smart to keep her as a tenant as long as she wants to live there. She takes good care of the place, and has actually increased its value.
She has made this space look way bigger than it is. She placed the furniture perfectly. The apartment has such a great feel to it. She also lucked out with the layout and great ceilings and windows.
When my wife and I were 1st married our efficiency apartment was less than 200 square feet. Not having a lot of possessions. It suited us just fine
Regardless of what this young lady has done to her “apartment” and with the neighborhood’s alleged amenities, why anyone would willingly move to NYC under the current circumstances is a mystery to me. I hope she makes out well.
I drove up to NYC decades ago for a summer training stint before reassignment with the international trade quality assurance firm I worked for……
Driving up to NYC was a mistake, my mini fast back Mustang couldn’t carry much, spent the summer trying to keep it parked without having to buy a space. And I thought prices WERE HIGH, THEN !!!
Oh, did I mention it was summer? A record heat producing summer with the Son of Sam running amuck. How fascinating to see LITERAL mass hysteria in the big city. And I do mean LITERAL.
Will FOREVER miss Ray’s Pizza and the Madhatter. And the Metropolitan and Central Park. And the World Trade Towers, from atop.
The Big Apple was totally fascinating, And I was blessed to miss most of the dark side.
And the very best thing I got while in NYC was my bride! I had just dated her a few times before moving to NYC from down south, and she came up to visit me for a week, midway. By the time she left we were engaged……..the yankee air affected our thinking facilities and how!
46 years later and she’s still putting up with me.
Goodnight.
This is OK if you want to live in a dorm-room like atmosphere. Nobody mentioned how much the rent was for this closet. Is she that in love with NYC, must be a democrat.
