Again what does it even mean anymore? . I think the mattresses were used to block the noise of the digging perhaps. One thing is for sure, theres no way the people running this synagogue didnt know about this ESPECIALLY when they hired immigrants to do the digging .

There are tunnels every place.Some for good reasons and some for bad.I think this was to throw off the public from the real places full of crime.If you read the Bible and study the habits of the False Jews you will see a pattern.I do NOT trust them at all.They are the Cabal.They will sue the city and come out of this with millions of $ to use for more tunnels,and black market items.They are the BEAST.

We have priest tunnels from the church to the rectory here in my state, but I truly don’t know what’s up with this unless there is horror show happening in the Synagogue and they needed someplace to hide, but….
