Van Jones has effected a full 180 on Kamala Harris, recently admitting that the VP is not particularly popular to today claiming that he spoke on the phone with 20,000 black men who, he says, stand at the ready to defend the presumptive Democratic nominee from any and all criticism. Putting aside the question of how one speaks on the phone with 20,000 people, Jones is essentially saying that because she is black, Harris is above criticism.

America will never run out of fools. You fools should know that black individuals from other countries other than Africa do not like being called African Americans. Since when did Jamaica become a part of the African continent? Has any of you who support Kamala as an African American woman looked on a world map recently? We all know the answer to that question. I bet Jamaicans, like Kamala’s father, would rather not be called ‘African American.’ Kamala’s mother is from India. What part of that is known as ‘African American?’
