Trump needs to remember this is right out of the Democratic playbook, they go after the people they are the most afraid of and those they know they can’t control. There are still a lot of rhinos on the Republican side who act like they support Trump when they don’t and will collude with the Democrats behind the scenes while acting like they support his views. There are still too many Republicans that can’t be trusted. If Pete is willing to fight, he should go with his gut instincts and stay with people, he knows will support his views and fight for them.

This is going to be a domino effect. NEVER should have Gaetz pulled out because this is NEVER going to stop. The republican party has to STOP destroying itself. First mistake was putting Thune in charge as he is just another RINO.
