A lot of my friends start off as loyal democrats especially when they are in school or if their parents rely on welfare usually because the male parent refuses to work or some type of addict. After they graduate and get a job they get sticker shock when they see how much the government takes what they worked to give to those who don’t. They change their tone quickly. However, if they are promised a golden pot at the end of the rainbow for checking the box as a DEI recipient they become more militant for “their” cause and so it continues.
