As a Californian, I am so embarrassed!! If they allowed this to happen, I am sooooooooo going to order water bottles from other states. Or maybe I’ll move to another state.
I haven’t drank tap water in years. California is not known for maintaining important infrastructure. It’s a miracle we haven’t had a Flint Michigan style incident yet.
There is no water on this planet that has not already been drunk before. Educate yourself in how water is naturally purified and how humanity’s practices have affected the pollution of the water table and aquifers. California would do well to make tertiary water treatment the gold standard in their water management. The media would do well to stop the “drinking toilet water” scare tactics and consider the facts and the science.
