I was heavily involved most days of the week at multiple churches for years. What made me stop believing the church is a positive institution is the greed. I noticed the begging and demanding of so called donations were getting out of hand. How is it that the church leadership is driving luxury cars and living in huge houses if they are humble men and woman of God? It is gluttonous and a sin by their own words they preach. I occasionally go now if I am invited, but my relationship with God is a personal relationship as the Bible describes as all that is truly necessary.
I’m Christian and nobody is good but GOD, that is why we need him in the first place.
